Creative Counselor, Mandy
At Soul Purpose you can find your direction and purpose, or find it again! I am a creative soul. I enjoy using art and play as modalities in therapy, if you choose to do so. I am trained in CBT Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy- DBT.
I can help you if you have a severe and persistant mental illness or just day to day anxiety or low mood. I have worked extensively with people with schizophrenia and bipolar. I have worked with children with attachment issues. I also help parents with their parenting skills. I am open to treating PTSD and family discord. I also treat ADHD and have a variety of modalities for treatment.
I try to make therapy enjoyable and not just work; although there may be some hard work that we will have to do. I know with your effort and mine we can make changes that will help you to be content and satisified with your life. I also provide Christian Counseling if you elect to do so.

Art & Play Incorporated in Therapy
Integrating art and play into therapeutic sessions yields significantly positive outcomes for both children and adults. I focus on using budget-friendly art supplies that allow clients to easily continue their creative journey at home. We explore diverse techniques such as painting, collage, sewing, origami, and comic strips, alongside any other creative methods that resonate with your personal goals. Beyond the office, these hands-on activities encourage children and teens to reduce screen time. Engaging in tactile creativity during sessions fosters a sense of calm and supports overall mental well-being.

About Me, the Person, Not the Therapist
